The small Georgian
town of Bewdley is situated on the banks of the River Severn on
the edge of the Wyre Forest.
The main street
is home to the 18th Century church of St. Annes. Here you will also
find the old Butchers Shambles, now Bewdley's local museum and Tourist
Information Centre.
The Bewdley market
can be found on Saturday mornings just off Load Street in the town
centre.
Visitors will
also find a huge choice of small restaurants, cafes and pubs along
with a large choice in small craft and antique shops.
