The area takes its name from The Forest of Wyre which was once a medieval hunting ground and is now a poular visitor attraction.

The mains towns of the area include Bewdley, Kidderminster and Stourport as well as the surrounding villages of Rock, Wolverley and Chaddesley Corbett.
